How long does an elephant live?

Elephants are long-lived animals. The oldest elephants live to a ripe old age of 80. Elephants could live longer, but unfortunately they lose teeth at the end of their lives and are no longer able to chew and grind their food.

Elephants usually live up to 65-70 years. They live up to 80 years in captivity. It is related to the care they can receive at the zoo from humans when they are at the end of their days.
