Giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis) is the tallest animal on the Earth. It has around 6 meters (20 ft) in height.

Giraffe’s tongue has 50 cm (1,6 ft) in length. The closest extant relative of giraffe is the okapi (Okapia johnstoni). Giraffe isn’t just the tallest living terrestrial animal but also the largest ruminant.
