The largest known ceratops is Eotriceratops (Eotriceratops xerinsularis). It had 9 – 12 m (29.5 – 39.4 ft) in length and 5 – 13 tons (11,023 – 28,660 lb) in weight.

Eotriceratops means “dawn Triceratops“, it lived in woodlands of North America during the late Cretaceous period (70 – 65 million years ago). The largest known skull is reported to have been around 3 metres (10 ft) in length. It has been estimated that this specimen had about 9 meters (30 ft) in total length.
