The most beautiful duck in the world is the Mandarin duck (Aix galericulata). It lives in East Asia but isolated populations also exist in the United States.

The most colorful are males, females has white-brown-grey plumage. The Mandarian duck is 41–49 cm (16 – 19 in) long with a 65–75 cm (25 – 30 in) wingspan.
